Angels
As an art object, the nativity scene recalls typical images of the paintings of the 17th and 18th century.
Among
these, particular emphasis is given to the representation of the angels in glory, which gives the scene the more monumental effect, the more it is rich in angelic figures.
The silhouettes of the angels rise progressively upwards in increasingly smaller dimensions, thereby resulting in an amplification of the perspective effect in height, which seems to place the scenography in a space without any borders.
